Frequently Asked Questions — Home Visit Dentist Leeds

Everything you need to know about our mobile dental service in Leeds and West Yorkshire.

How much does a home visit cost in Leeds?

A standard home visit is £350, which includes travel to your location anywhere in Leeds or West Yorkshire, a full consultation, and examination. Any treatments are priced separately — for example, a check-up is £99, a filling is £250, and an extraction is £210. We always provide a written quote before any appointment so there are no surprises. See our full pricing page for details.

What areas do you cover?

We cover all of Leeds (postcodes LS1–LS29), Bradford, Wakefield, Harrogate, York, and Huddersfield. We visit patients in Headingley, Chapel Allerton, Roundhay, Horsforth, Pudsey, Morley, Garforth, Wetherby, and many more areas. View our full coverage area.

What treatments can you do at home?

We carry portable professional dental equipment that allows us to perform check-ups, fillings, extractions, scale and polish, denture fittings, denture repairs and relines, crown recementing, and emergency treatment. If a procedure requires a laboratory or hospital setting, we will advise you and help arrange a referral.

Are your dentists qualified?

Yes. Every clinician is fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and our practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We carry full professional indemnity insurance and follow all current infection control protocols.

How do I book?

The easiest way is to fill in our free quote form. It takes under two minutes. We email you a written quote, then call to arrange a convenient appointment. You can also phone us directly on 0113 833 2782.

Can you visit care homes?

Absolutely. We work with care homes, nursing homes, and supported living facilities across Leeds and West Yorkshire. We offer individual visits and multi-resident clinic days. There is a £50 surcharge per visit for care home and hospital settings. Find out more about our care home services.

Do you offer emergency appointments?

Yes. We offer urgent priority appointments for dental emergencies including severe toothache, broken teeth, abscesses, and lost fillings. An urgent surcharge of £250 applies (£1,000 for urgent denture cases). Learn more about our emergency service.

What should I have ready for the visit?

A well-lit room with a comfortable chair and access to a power socket is ideal. If possible, have a small table nearby for equipment. A glass of water can also be helpful. Our clinician will set everything up when they arrive — you do not need anything special.

How do I pay?

We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments. Payment is collected on the day of treatment. For larger courses of work like new dentures, costs are spread across multiple visits as the work progresses.

Can you help with dental anxiety?

Yes. Many of our patients choose home visits specifically because dental anxiety makes surgery visits difficult. Being treated in familiar surroundings, with an unhurried and gentle approach, can make a significant difference. Read about our approach to anxious patients.
