Recovery & Aftercare
Most patients recover well within a few days. After your extraction, we recommend resting for the remainder of the day, avoiding hot drinks and alcohol for 24 hours, not rinsing your mouth for the first 24 hours to allow the blood clot to form, eating soft foods initially and chewing on the opposite side, and gently rinsing with warm salt water from the second day onwards.
